Solstice® ze (R-1234ze)
An energy-efficient, ultra-low GWP refrigerant alternative to R-134a in chillers for supermarkets.
Solstice® L40X (R-455A)
Mildly flammable (A2L refrigerant), <150 GWP refrigerant that provides better performance, lower CAPEX, and improved operating efficiencies compared to the higher GWP refrigerants it replaces. Proven to provide CAPEX equipment reduction vs. other low GWP A2L refrigerants due to reduced equipment required from increased charge size.
Solstice® 454C (R-454C)
GWP of 466, mildly flammable (A2L refrigerant), with a close match to R-404A equipment design. Demonstrates nearly 10% improved efficiency and capacity within 8% of R-404A, with a GWP that’s 96% lower than R-404A.
Solstice® 454B (R-454B)
Mildly flammable (A2L refrigerant), non-ozone depleting, zeotropic blend with improved efficiency and matching capacity to R-410A and with a GWP that’s 78% lower, minimizing redesign costs and capital expenditures. Most optimized R-410A replacement, providing easy conversion with minimal changes from an R-410A design
A1 refrigerants for Industrial processes
Solstice® zd (R-1233zd)
Nonflammable (A1), ultra-low GWP of <1, offering better capacity and similar efficiency to R-123. Provides higher efficiency when compared to R-245fa in renewable heat recovery and in waste recovery in both mobile and stationary applications
Solstice® N15 (R-515B)
GWP of 293, nonflammable (A1) azeotropic blend that demonstrates environmental and performance benefits in new systems. Matches the capacity and efficiency of R-1234ze, hence it can be used in all equipment that has been designed for R-1234ze
