Fluorides

Cesium tetrafluoroaluminate (01773)

normal type, for brazing flux applications, melting point onset <445°C, particle size (D50) 5 - 20µm, assay of Cs (calc.to dried s.) 56 - 62%

Overview
Cesium Tetrafluoroaluminate N is a standard dry flux powder in braze rods and rings; as component in liquid flux preparations, e.g in paint flux and flux pastes.

Dy powder for slurrys, paints, paste with organic solvent; <3 % moisture, , melting point onset max 445°C, assay of Cs (calc.to dried s.) 56 - 62%

Used for joining aluminium alloys, e.g. in the HVAC industry by flame brazing or in the automotive industry by controlled atmosphere brazing (CAB).
