Genetron® 500 (R-500)
U.S. production stopped December 31, 1995. Genetron 500, an azeotropic mixture, had slightly higher vapor pressures and higher capacities from the same compressor displacement. A mixture of R-12 and R-152a, R-500 was mostly used in dehumidifiers.
