Helping The World Safely Decarbonize With Energy Efficient Solutions

Greenhouse gas emissions are being reduced every day as more companies choose Honeywell Solstice® hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) technology for insulating, heating and cooling.

HFOs contribute to the phasedown of HFCs, in line with Kigali Amendment and U.S. AIM Act

The White House Climate Task Force has set an ambitious goal to achieve a net-zero emissions economy by 2050. With sustainability at the heart of everything Honeywell does, we enthusiastically support this target. And to achieve it, we know that reducing emissions from hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and other industrial refrigerants by transitioning to low global warming potential (low-GWP) HFOs is of paramount importance -- especially as U.S. HFC users look to prepare for the eminent drop in total U.S. HFC supply to 60% of baseline in 2024. (Image Source: U.S. EPA)
