Fluorides

Hydrofluoric acid

Aqueous 49% Solution

Overview
Our 49% HF is a clear, colorless, corrosive fuming liquid with a sharp, stinging odor. It is non-fuming, 100% soluble in water and is not flammable. The 49% solution is highly hazardous and needs to be handled and used with rigorous safety precautions. Liquid exposure can cause severe burns to all parts of the body. Specialized medical treatment is required for any exposure to 49% HF.
