A Swiss data center and a cheese factory work together using a high-temperature heat pump powered by Honeywell Solstice® refrigerant to convert waste heat into processing cheese.

Solution:

The Berg-Käserei Gais cheese factory is connected to the district heating network and uses part of the data center waste heat for a high-temperature OCHSNER Energietechnik heat pump, powered by ultra-low GWP Solstice R1234ze.
